WELCOME TO STOCKTON RAMBLING CLUB

"Not all who wander are lost."

~ J R R Tolkien ~

If you are interested in walking why not leave your car behind and join us on our Sunday coach?  We are a friendly group where all are welcome.

We are one of the most active walking groups in the Teesside area and we are really fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful walking country.  So our rambles naturally take us into the North York Moors National Parks, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and County Durham.

The Club has been active for over 70 years during which time it has created a fantastic programme of walks for you to discover, not just in the North East but even further afield.  In the summer months our programme of walks usually includes the Lake District, Cumbria, the North Pennines and Northumberland as well as the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales.

The coach picks up every Sunday at Stockton, Billingham, Norton, Thornaby and Acklam.

No booking required. Just turn up at the coach stop.  It's as simple as that!

There are three levels of organised walk each Sunday:

A (14 to 16 miles), B (up to 14 miles) and C (up to 10 miles).
All walks are scheduled to finish within 6 hours and usually there is time to relax and socialise  in a local pub or café before the journey home.

We also organise mid-week circular car walks, social events and walking weekends in areas such as the Peak District and Scotland.
