Founded in 1952, Stockton Rambling Club (SRC) is based in Teesside with a current membership of approximately 200 people.  The objectives of the club are to encourage enjoyment of the countryside and the development of friendship through walks and social activities.

Leave your car behind and join us on our coach.  We meet every Sunday throughout the year for walks in all parts of the North of England.  We also organise mid-week circular car walks and weekend walking trips to the Lake District, Derbyshire, the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland and Scotland.  In addition to our walks programme, we have a social calendar with 'special events' organised for members at various points throughout the year.

Each Sunday the Club organises three grades of walk, ranging from a challenging 'A' walk of between 14-16 miles, through to a moderately fast 'B' walk of up to 14 miles, down to a more leisurely 'C' walk of up to 10 miles.  Detailed descriptions of these walks are circulated around the coach on the day of the walks.   After an enjoyable day walking, our walk leaders aim to be back in time for refreshments in a cafe or pub before boarding the coach for home.

The club is run by a committee of 12 people who meet every 2 months. An Annual General Meeting is held each year where all members are encouraged to attend and express their views.
